The difference
How this compares to typical AI consulting
| Peak AI Consulting | Typical AI consultant | |
|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | Ethan, personally | Often a junior team after the sale |
| Pricing | Published, fixed per scope | Hourly or "let's hop on a call" |
| Deliverable | Working systems in production | Roadmaps and slide decks |
| Audit cost | Credited toward your build | Billed separately |
| Experience | Runs two companies on what he builds | Advises, rarely operates |
FAQ
Questions owners ask before hiring an AI consultant
We're a small business. Is AI consulting really worth it for us?
It is if you have repetitive work eating your team's week: lead follow-up, scheduling, quoting, data entry, reporting, inbox triage. The audit exists to answer this question with numbers before you spend real money. If I don't find enough value, I'll tell you.
Why do you publish prices when most consultants don't?
Because you shouldn't need three calls to find out if you can afford me. Every build gets a written scope and a fixed quote before work starts, so you never pay for surprise hours.
Do I need to buy new software?
Usually not. I build on top of what you already run (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, your CRM, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, QuickBooks, your phone system) and only recommend new tools when they clearly pay for themselves.
What does the audit credit mean?
If you start a Build Sprint within 60 days of your audit readout, the full $2,500 comes off the sprint price. The audit is effectively free if you move forward.
Who actually does the work?
I do. You're not handed off to a junior team. I scope it, build it, test it and train your people on it.
What about data privacy and security?
I use business-tier AI services that don't train on your data, keep access to the minimum needed, document where data flows, and add human review steps anywhere a mistake would be costly. You own everything I build.
What happens after the build is done?
Every sprint includes 30 days of support. After that you can run it yourself (I'll document it), call me for one-off fixes, or move to the Fractional AI Partner plan so I keep improving it.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Owner-led companies with roughly 5–100 people: home services and construction, franchises, health and wellness, professional services, agencies and local multi-location businesses. If your team lives in a CRM, an inbox and a calendar, I can help.
Not sure which plan fits?
Book a free 30-minute call. I'll tell you which option makes sense, or if you don't need me yet.
